Job Description

Reporting to the Creative Director with a dotted line to the Non Exec Director, the Sustainability Analyst key area of responsibility is leading the research and analysis for our bespoke market insight and benchmarking tool for clients. With one direct report of a Junior Insight Analyst, this role is integral in successfully delivering our strategy for analytics and intelligence. You will take the lead on development of our insight capability, defining guidelines and standards for how we present information, working closely with our colleagues in the team to share good-practice and liaising closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure their needs for clients are met.

This role will help drive client strategy, derive client journeys, as well as improve & develop client propositions so we're looking for a person who is passionate about data, analytics and visualisation, has an aptitude for problem solving, and uses that approach to provide simple and effective solutions. You must be able to communicate effectively, have an eye for detail and demonstrate a restless curiosity as we're open to change and actively encourage innovative new ways to how we do things.

You will be in a business and client-facing role including managing day-to-day project tasks, so the ability to build strong relationships is crucial. You will also be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, including the ability to develop recommendations and strategy based on analysis.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • To propose and manage quantitative and qualitative insight projects via our bespoke insight tool Polaris - this role will have a particular qualitative focus
  • Continually improve established on-going reporting and analysis processes and identifying new 'mega feeds' and 'smart feeds'
  • The successful running of core insight reports, including ensuring that data is correct
  • Interpreting research data into actionable insights
  • Analysing and producing strategic reports for senior management
  • Co-ordinating bespoke research projects for clients
  • Communicating research findings and data in new and innovative ways
  • Training of and support for business users in using reporting to inform business and client facing decisions
  • Maintaining strong day-to-day relationships with internal and external data owners to ensure data is available and deal with any queries or issues from users.
  • Work with technology partners to develop our data roadmap, identify the value of new sources and support associated prioritisation and design activities.
  • To proactively support Creative Director and Head of Comms on new business pitches
  • To promote and develop the role of insight across our client base
  • Creating compelling and accurate insight debriefs and reports
  • Writing research proposals
  • Working with a range of external and bespoke sources to develop compelling stories
  • Work collaboratively on new and existing client business with PDL/S
  • Adhoc 4D Cycle support:02: Support as required within 'Dream' session
  • Support in the 'Delivery' of Launch events
  • Support as required for on-site auditing
  • Support Head of Comms as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Thorough when it comes to reviewing and verifying data
  • Strong with excel
  • Capable of data analysis
  • Detail oriented
