They currently employ over 1,000 people over UK sites and are behind many household brands.

Job Description

You will be expected to:

  • Work directly with customers and Key distributors to identify, qualify and close Product applications
  • Generate new businesses opportunities and expand the customer base by acquiring new customers or introducing new products to existing customers via the Distributor Network
  • Implement local plans and initiatives to generate sustainable growth for our brands in the market
  • Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required; including product training and demonstrations
  • Achievement of Sales Targets and coordinated Sales projects
  • Ensure on-time reporting of projects, forecasts, activity planning, etc.
  • Communicate with all Company departments on specific projects where appropriate

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • University degree in Mechanics, Chemistry or Engineering preferred or a strong background in manufacturing processes/engineering with HNC qualification
  • 2 years professional experience in Mechanics or Chemistry preferred
  • Experience of distribution sales of a benefit with a value add or solution selling approach
  • Professional, customer focused individual with strong business development and new business orientation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Being well planned to ensure effective use of time
  • A real desire to succeed and passion to deliver for the customer
  • Knowledge of adhesive and bonding technology appreciated

What's on Offer

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £35,000 + Bonus and Benefits
