About Our Client

An award winning NW based Housing Association looking to expand their technical team.

Job Description

Be responsible for the efficient organisation and execution of work of the Technicians within the repairs team including, productivity targets, Health and Safety Standards, work monitoring, response times, customer satisfaction, and resource allocation.

To conduct team briefings, personal development planning and one to one meetings.

Supervise sub-contractors providing the repair service to ensure satisfactory performance levels are achieved within contract timescales and liaise with Asset Management staff, housing services staff and external clients and customers to provide a cost effective right first time quality service at all times.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for enthusiastic people with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong customer service focus. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, be fully conversant in the use of Microsoft packages, with advanced knowledge of the use of Excel and Word.

  • City and Guilds , NVQ at trade / construction level
  • Relevant management qualification (E.G ILM or NVQ) preferable or a willingness to work towards a relevant qualification
  • Minimum GCSE standard English and Maths
  • Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy
  • Appropriate CSCS card
  • SMSTS Certificate - Desirable
