Job Description

  • Financial reporting for all Group Corporate activities on a monthly reporting cycle
  • Provide Group balance sheet and Income & Expenditure statements
  • Support the business with :Taxation - corporation tax &VAT, Risk & legal matters & regulatory returns,Sinking funds, Insurance, Balance Sheet & Financial systems controls, Ensure audit reviews are carried out
  • Support preparation of year end
  • Prepare and manage audit functions for year end
  • Provide support within the Management Accounting team
  • VAT including completion of the quarterly return, and liaison with external advisers on tax planning issues
  • Identify and evaluate changes in any financial regulatory reporting (SORP, FR102) and accounting requirements and evaluate impact on financial statements presentation and financial and management accounting.

The Successful Applicant

Excellent working knowledge of the preparation of annual statutory accounts

Experience of Excel (advanced level)

Experience in completion of VAT returns and good knowledge of VAT issues

Post qualification experience

Excellent interpersonal skills

Good knowledge of Corporation Tax and consolidation of gift aid
