Job Description

The primary responsibility of the territory manager will be to manage, develop and leverage existing relationships across the region whilst identifying new business opportunities.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Achieving all sales targets and objectives as agreed in your region.
  • Assisting in achieving the national targets for the company.
  • To achieve significant market penetration and visibility (awareness) for the range of surgical products.
  • To assist in the development of sales plans for your region and present these at sales meetings and to the Southern Area Sales Manager for approval/acceptance.
  • To implement the surgical business plan with suggested recommended improvements where necessary to achieve our main short term and our long term objectives.
  • To become fully familiar with all surgical products and to maximise the sales for the region effectively utilise these skills and knowledge.
  • Keeping abreast of new developments, prices and competition in the market by creating good dialogue and team spirit with other staff.
  • Develop tactics and negotiating skills for price negotiations with surgeons buyers and theatre staff.

The Successful Applicant

The territory manager will:

- Ideally be degree educated.

- Have a strong sales track record

- Preferably have some experience in the medical device/ pharmaceutical industry

-Be a self starter, enthusiastic, motivated individual

-Be able to speak to different stakeholders at different levels.

-Have strong interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service levels.

What's on Offer

£30,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience
