Job Description

The Tesco National Account Manager will look after own label food products within Tesco across numerous categories. This is a challenging role and the demands from the customer base and expectations from my client are high - so we require a high calibre candidate who is not afraid of hard work. In return you will have full autonomy over your accounts [business plans, margins as well as retail sales]. You will work closely with a cross functional account team, including marketing, NPD and supply chain so strong relationship building skills are essential! This is a homebased role although you will need to commute to London a couple of times a week

The Successful Applicant

The successful Tesco National Account Manager will have prior experience working in a similar position and level in the FMCG arena, ideally in a food or drink category. You will have good self-awareness, be a natural entrepreneur and be able to demonstrate the drive to influence and convince, in order to successfully achieve results.

You will be commercially aware with the personal attributes that are required to succeed in this position, which include tenacity, working to challenging deadlines [and in a changing environment!] and problem solving through creativity. In return you will have the autonomy and flexibility to take full accountability of your client base and unlock the growth potential that exists!
