The Successful Applicant

The exciting role is responsible for planning and managing a small team of drivers to provide a first class service to the customer who is in the food and retail sector. The successful candidate must ensure key performance targets are met without compromising the Health, Safety and Environment standards set by the Company and the Customer.

This role will ensure the department operates efficiently through the implementation of first class planning and scheduling process.

A positive attitude is essential along with much flexibility to support the business. This coupled with the need to maintain service levels through support that should be given to the operational teas when the demand requires. Maintaining an excellent relationship with both customer and team of drivers is imperative. This position may involve some driving as well with vehicles being 3.5 tonne vans.

Salary is £25,000 plus bonus
