Job Description

As Treasury Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all aspects of Treasury Front Office and oversight of the Back Office, covering UK Group companies
  • Management of cash pooling structures, both domestic and international
  • Analysis of FX and reporting
  • Execution of FX deals (spot, forwards, swaps)
  • Development of in house banking services cross group companies
  • Advising business units in line with corporate policy on hedging with counterpart FDs and CFOs
  • Working capital analysis and reporting on a monthly basis, providing solutions for group companies
  • Ownership, monitor, support and manage intragroup loans and documentation with internal counter-parties
  • Improving systems and process development to ensure operational efficiency
  • Liaise with the wider treasury team to deliver global cash management solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining bank relationships
  • Treasury reporting on monthly basis
  • Assisting both internal and external parties with Treasury Accounting
  • Up-to-date with upcoming changes to accounting standards and regulations
  • Ad hoc projects, such as TMS and leading bank projects

The Successful Applicant

To be a successful applicant for the role of Treasury Dealer you must:

  • Have at least 4 years' experience
  • Show evidence of managing a team
  • Hold or be working toward a formal treasury qualification (e.g. ACT) desirable
  • General knowledge of financial instruments and treasury activities, in addition to working capital
  • Strong knowledge/exposure of FX and money market products
  • Be organised and technically minded, able to work through projects from start to finish
  • Have the capacity to work well independently and able to work with others
  • Be an excellent communicator and be experienced in the development and maintenance of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
