Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a constant stream of funding prospects from statutory/grant bodies
  • Work cross-departmentally to ensure that effective proposals are created and that funding is distributed in the appropriate manner
  • Meet targets set by the team manager to ensure funding is consistently being secured
  • Use feedback and funding analysis to ensure effective proposals are produced
  • Keep abreast of changes to policy in the sector
  • Ensure that fundraising best-practise is continued through keeping up to date with the trust fundraising landscape
  • Contribute to a positive working environment across the organisation

The Successful Applicant

Person Specification:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of writing successful funding applications from trust/statutory sources
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to work with departments across the organisation
  • Ability to work proactively and be results orientated
  • Excellent presentation delivery skills

What's on Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £30,000-£32,000. Home working is also an option for a slightly reduced salary.
