About Our Client

The client is a US owned FMCG company based in leafy Surrey. They are currently going through a period of change and a local office relocation.

Working with a tight-knit team that has excellent rapport. This candidate must have managerial experience.

Job Description

  • To proactively partner; building rapport and credibility quickly and effectively with the General Manager and the rest of the UK Management Team
  • Effectively lead and support the UK HR Team - able to represent HR as an integral part of the commercial picture (proactively support the UK Growth Strategy)
  • To provide hands on support and advice to managers and HR team members to effectively manage more complex performance/employee relation issues i.e. disciplinary, grievance, sickness etc
  • Work alongside the UK General Manager and Management Team to design and implement any restructuring/change initiatives
  • Overall responsible for the crafting of Business and people solutions
  • To work closely with the US and International colleagues to cascade and support Global initiatives, communicating Global processes etc
  • Lead various projects/initiatives to drive added value
  • Successfully manage the local HR budget

The Successful Applicant

  • Excellent Employment Law knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of TUPE
  • Superb communication skills honed in business partnering/advisory roles
  • Strong commercial acumen Strong planning and organisation skills - able to effectively plan ahead to anticipate potential obstacles or challenges
  • Demonstrates strong personal credibility and integrity
  • Self-motivated and self-aware
  • Flexible - Able to work effectively to tight deadlines within a fast paced and changing environment
  • Experience of office relocation
  • Managerial experience
  • Experience of working with a U.S centric company

What's on Offer

£55,000 - £58,000 plus £5,300 car allowance and extensive benefits package. 12 month contract.

Competitive equivalent day rate is also available.
