About Our Client

My client already has a presence in Europe and is now at a point to tackle the UK market with their disruptive brand! They have won awards for their product innovation and marketing/branding so are very well positioned to create a storm in this category with this UK Sales Manager.

Job Description

This will be a stand alone role to begin with, so this UK Sales Manager must be happy to work independently and be able to motivate themselves! Ideally you will have a blue chip FMCG background and will be ready to use these learns and experiences to launch this challenger brand into the UK Market. There will be a heavy Grocery bias with this role so experience selling into the Top 6 is advantageous. Must be commutable to London.

The Successful Applicant

The focus of this UK Sales Manager will be to develop trading relationships with relevant key retailers, although Grocery is the bias you will also be expected to identify smaller/ independent accounts as well in order to get some wins in the shorter term. The longer term view is for this person to head up the UK business and build a team around them, so the desire to progress is important - although time scales will be dictated by your success! London based.
