My client are a leading B2B electrical component distributor based in Leeds and have a global presence.

Job Description

Delivering commercial insight through data and analytics with high quality, efficient and timely analysis of eCommerce activities to measure effectiveness of investments and activity.

Proactively exploring and interrogating web performance looking for unique trends, anomalies and insights to enable advanced decision making across the sales and marketing teams, with detailed and actionable insights.

Utilising the full set of web analytical tools to drive accurate and trusted web insights

Delivering value adding insights to key stakeholders in the business, and driving automation wherever possible with the Analytics team in Bangalore

Supporting and partnering with key internal stakeholders with ad-hoc requests for insight, whilst standardizing processes to increase productivity and efficiency within the wider analytics team.

Working with marketing insights colleagues and supporting the deployment of new approaches to understanding marketing & eCommerce effectiveness including multi variant testing (MVT) attribution modelling, conversion funnel and customer segmentation analytics

Maintaining analytical skill levels, in a fast paced environment.

The Successful Applicant

Currently in an analytically-based role in an Internet environment

Understanding of attribution modeling and MVT

Excellent communicator

Stakeholder management

Ability to convey complex data sets into simple business insights

In-depth knowledge with web analytics and measurement tools of Tealeaf, Omniture and Gomez

Familiarity with web technologies and web content development procedures, preferably in an ecommerce environment

Proven track record of delivering complete, accurate, and detailed results in a fast-paced marketing analysis environment

Understanding of digital marketing principles with an emphasis on measurement of PPC and SEO campaigns

Familiarity with emerging media and other web 2.0 elements

Must have the ability to combine strategic and analytical skills with creative and visual skills

Razor sharp written and verbal communication and presentation skills
