My client is a leading travel and leisure brand based in Hertfordshire.

Job Description

As the Website Manager - you will be responsible for:

- Driving new strategic initiatives and ongoing improvements to meet key KPIs, targets and goals.

- Owning and managing KPI's and targets to measure and improve performance.

- Researching best practice customer behaviour, metrics and trends to innovate, inform and optimise the customer journey and user experience; Keeping abreast of user centric design, new ideas, initiatives and technologies in the marketplace which will support continued growth.

- Planning and executing usability research and testing approaches; implementing improvements where applicable.

- Managing, testing and communicating all website development, campaign, analytics and content changes.

- Working alongside the Website Content Manager to assure the quality of content produced, ensuring content is an accurate representation of the product, and workflow is prioritised based on business requirements and benefit.

- Planning, managing and acting on ongoing website analysis, measuring the performance of the websites and managing the approach. Providing website analytical support to the sales and marketing teams and wider business.

- Championing and developing software opportunities (including Tealeaf, Optimizely, GA, Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc).

- Maintaining a consistent look and feel throughout all of the website properties, ensuring content is an accurate representation of the product and that it adds value to user experience.

- Managing change and communications: constantly communicate to stakeholders, manage issues, remove bottlenecks and conflict, gain buy-in, organise, run and document presentations and meetings.

- Assuring quality: Supporting the Project Managers with all major projects, supporting the IT team with developments and supporting the testing team with user testing. Acting as the day-to-day sign off point.

- Planning and managing the OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this Website Manager position you must be:

- Customer centric with a sound understanding of digital and ecommerce best practice and innovation opportunities.

- Commercially astute and driven

- Able to deliver tactical requirements against challenging deadlines.

- Strategically confident, adept and technically sound.

- Numbers Driven; An analytics, user research and testing aficionado, able to model/forecast targets, analyse data and report.

- A tactful diplomat with a questioning and challenging mind; an agent for change, managing and communicating with stakeholders and resolving conflict.

- Highly organised, a self-starter who works well as part of a team.
