This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, personable and energetic individual who wants to be part of and shape the future of this expanding team working specifically in the are of Mental Capacity.
The Deputyship Team undertakes high value claims on behalf of clients who have suffered brain injuries. They specialise in dealing with Deputyships, Special Needs Trusts and Applications to the Court of Protection. Additionally work includes Statutory Wills, Tax Planning and substantial gifts from clients' estates.
You will develop a Deputyship/mental Capacity practice of your own, as well as developing and growing the firm's scope in this area. You will also be responsible for managing the Deputyship Team whilst working closely with the Private Client and Personal Injury teams.
It goes without saying that business development will be an important part of your role.

Who we're looking for
You will have a minimum of 7 years PQE in Private Client work, including significant experience in Mental Capacity and Court of Protection work. You have excellent business development and relationship skills with a proven track record of the same and be able to manager and develop others. It is essential that you possess excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
