Business Development Manager - Aviation

If you are proficient in business development & marketing in a growing sector area for a medium sized law firm, this is definitely the role for you. Focusing on the Aviation sector and reporting into the Business Development Director, key responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinate the business planning process and the implementation of plans by working with the Aviation Management Team to achieve objectives
- Co-ordinate and drive forward relevant business development subgroups
- Develop and implement marketing plans for Aviation business on a firm-wide basis
- Plan and implement a full range of marketing activities that achieve the Department's and firm's objectives (including brochures, newsletters, media, advertising/directories)
- Guide, encourage and support more focused targeting of sectors and clients, in particular driving forward cross-selling opportunities for the Firm as a whole related to Aviation
- Establish/maintain credentials information and guide bid/sales processes
- Establish and develop client plans for core clients
- Promote increased integration across offices and practices

Who we're looking for
Substantial experience managing a full range of CRM, business development, communications and marketing activities, preferably within a professional services environment
Experience of implementing effective targeting and cross-selling programmes
Experience of developing and implementing aligned business, business development, branding and marketing plans and managing performance
The ability to drive initiatives forward
