Business Development Manager - Finance

If you want to take the next step up in your career in a growing sector area for an international law firm, this is definitely the role for you. Focusing on the finance sector key responsibilities include:
- Supporting a focused approach to development or extension of client relationships, including production/monitoring of client action plans
- Designing and implementing new business initiatives alongside the Products team
- Establishing client contacts (including BD equivalents) to identify opportunities and market trends to win new business.
- Supporting and accompanying partners on key client relationship reviews and new business meetings.
- Liaising and exchanging information with other practice
- Pitching: providing input to major pitches
- Tracking and analysing relevant market trends including regular review of relevant league table results
- Delegating BD information and research tasks to the Finance Research Manager

Who we're looking for
- Background of the business areas / good knowledge of banking products
- Manager level business development or relevant legal knowledge in an international business-to-business environment (either FT 500 corporate, major consultancy, professional services firm, or a bank)
- Extensive knowledge of relationship management and winning new business
- Dealt with management/clients in past roles
- Proven track record of delivering against objectives
