Transport - Network Consultant

As part of our Consultancy team, you will support current and new customers by designing innovative, cost effective transport and network solutions. You will travel to operations and customer sites, working alongside our existing account managers and with our senior management team, supporting new business growth as well as providing strategic support to our existing customer base. Working with transport modelling software such as Paragon &Cast you will be responsible for project managing design solutions from inception through to delivery.
Who we're looking for
A Previous background within logistics analysis gained from a transport environment. Ideally you will have worked with transport modelling software previously (i.e. Paragon, CAST) together with an advanced understanding of MS Excel and Visual Basic. Ideally you will be of graduate calibre, and will be highly numerate with some operational exposure within logistics. Any commercial knowledge will be a distinct advantage (i.e. tender preparation / bid management process exposure). You will have significant exposure to the board of directors and their first line reports, who are typically the customers for our solutions. Some opportunity for work supporting the European businesses will also be provided.
