PURPOSE OF ROLE
To assist in the support of the Wintel and Back office infrastructure throughout the company, consisting of multiple servers. The role includes: Proactive management, resolving performance and connectivity issues, coordination with other support teams, reviewing and implementing security fixes.

KEY RESULT AREAS

· To enhance our team in providing a stable and secure environment

· Maintaining the backup infrastructure

· Improving services to the business.

· Take responsibility for the management of own projects and drive the project forward in order to meet project timescales

· Provide regular feedback to the line manager and Project Owners in relation to status updates and general information.

· Act as a technical resource where required

· Take ownership of problems
· Pro-actively monitor open calls log to ensure they do not exceed acceptable standards.

Who we're looking for
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
· A good understanding of VoIP telephone systems
· LAN/WAN - TCP/IP
· Experience of working within VMware infrastructure
· MCSE or MCITP
· Good Windows 7, multi-domain Experience of working within a Citrix environment (inc. Xenapp)
· Good time management skills

Desirable

· MS Exchange 2003
· ITIL Foundation qualification
· MCSE (Windows 2000)
· SAN implementation and configuration
· Exchange 5.5 & 2000 experience· Windows Terminal Server and Citrix skills
· Scripting \ programming skills
