Operational/Financial Risk Officer

Working within the Financial Management team, you will design and implement a highly effective strategy for managing financial risk within this successful business. Identifying all operational risks, you'll determine the effectiveness of our existing controls and advise the senior management team as to where improvements could be made. When incidents do occur, you'll carry out root cause analysis to prevent it happening again.

Who we're looking for
To rise to the challenge, you'll need a good understanding of the business' overall operations. More specifically, we're looking for practical experience of implementing operational risk controls. With that in mind, you'll need a good knowledge of governance issues, operational risk concepts and methodologies and FSA regulations. Above all, you must be keen to promote risk and controls across the organisation and have a genuine desire to raise both the profile and quality of our work in this area
