· Strong ownership of all aspects of the financials associated with the businesses. Provision of information for monthly reviews, ad-hoc management reports & analyses. Ensure the components /drivers of costs charged to the businesses are fully understood and actively pursue cost saving opportunities. In this regard work closely with EMEA Markets Finance.
· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecast exercises
· Build on Balance Sheet (GAAP & RAP), Regulatory and Risk Capital reporting at a business level and drive forward initiatives to utilise resources more effectively
· Co-ordinate closely with the Middle Office and Operations regarding business processing issues, control enhancements & associated metrics
· Oversight of approval & monitoring processes for all SPVs utilized by the businesses
· Through close interaction with Business Risk & Control / Compliance:
- Ensure adequate processes are in place to address the variety of internal policies and procedures that the business has to comply with, (in particular CMAC, Structured Finance & Anti Tying)
- Build on current Operational Risk and RCSA processes
- Ensure full compliance with Business Continuity & Information Security requirements
· Main point person on ARR and external regulatory reviews, (incl. tracking corrective actions when appropriate)
· Through liaison with relevant Technology groups, ensure system requirements of the businesses are fully understood, application development projects are appropriately prioritised and delivered in line with expectations. Ensure technology infrastructure is sufficiently robust to support these growing businesses.
· Provision of day-to-day management support on ad-hoc activities that relate to these businesses.
Who we're looking for
Knowledge/ experience:
Credit Products experience· Business Management experience Product Control background desirable Chartered Accountant or equivalent
