Treasury Business Analyst

The transformation programme objective is to deliver a world-class function and with this is seeking to transform the Treasury infrastructure to realise this objective.
The successful candidate should have an understanding of the Treasury function and the associated product set. The candidate should also have the ability to understand complicated system architecture in a timely fashion. Clear and concise communication is required including input into working groups. The successful candidate should be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a group.

Typical project responsibilities include the following areas:
• Take part in meetings, including supporting the Project Manager in agreeing actions, owners & timelines
• Penning & agreeing required project documentation i.e. ToR, Business Requirements, Functional Specification etc
• Identify control & process efficiency issues
• Support the Project Manager with project initiatives, specifically:
- Analyse problems & user requirements
- Understanding current processes
- Identify possible solutions
- Build a strong business case
- Project planning
- Project execution, management & tracking
- Issue identification and resolution
- UAT testing & implementation
• Input & aid the Project Manager with presentations to senior managers and other stakeholders
• Take part in meetings, including supporting the Project Manager in agreeing actions, owners & timelines
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities

Who we're looking for
Technical and Banking Knowledge
• Knowledge of Treasury related products i.e. Derivatives, MTN, Bonds etc
• High-level understanding of the front to back core processing across front, middle & back office
• On a high-level understand other functions & associated infrastructure i.e. Finance, Risk (Market & Credit), Compliance.
• Understanding of a project lifecycle
• Experience working on systems & process related projects within an investment bank
• Prior experience within a Treasury function

Control Function
• Work closely with other cross functional and infrastructure touch points
• Support the Project Manager in driving for results & delivery within the project timeframe & spend

Communication
• Ability to gather information from a broad range of sources.
• Through clear communication and development of business relationships, creates opportunities (internal and external) to build influence for the business
• Clear & organised communication style
