This is a fantastic new role, created to specifically look after all areas of insights across Australasia, Asia, Canada and Europe.
Key accountabilities will include:
• Working with the Marketing/Category teams to identify the key consumer/shopper insights required to guide all key business initiatives and develop a cost effective research programme to fulfil these needs.
• Managing the research programme from briefing through to results generation
• Working with Marketing, Category & local teams to generate key insights and actions arising from the research programme ensuring research findings are used effectively within the business.
• Initiating and responding to requests for ad hoc analyses on key business issue
• Producing internal reports on category and brand performance for focus markets utilizing market tracking data and market reports
• Supporting the Global Insight Controller in the development of global understanding and insight generation to address cross market business issues
Who we're looking for
• Experienced in providing consumer/shopper insight, from managing research programmes through to results generation and action planning. Ideally you will have gained this in an FMCG business but this is not essential
•Experience of working on insight provision for non UK countries is desirable but not essential
• An ability to challenge, question and seek new and improved ways of working /utilizing data/information
• Highly numerate with proven analytical skills combined with an ability to turn data/information into Insight into action
• Excellent written and oral communication skills enabling effective working with agencies and local teams located outside of the UK
• Effective management and prioritization of own work load combined with a flexible hands on approach
• Willingness to travel as and when required although this will not be a heavy feature of the role
