Strategic Sales Manager

Our client publishes a leading brand of niche learning software.They are currently looking to further expand due to organic growth within their Sales team. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Make outgoing sales calls to the Government Sector to actively seek new clients
• Handle incoming calls and successfully answer questions from customers
• Maintain a steady flow of appointments through web presentations
• Generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
• Source, build and maintain client relationships through attentive customer service in order to grow the sales in your territory.
• Help develop business plans for the region to target activities which result in effective selling efforts and capture all potential sales opportunities while communicating any challenges to the Sales Manager, Europe
• Develop and maintain knowledge and experience of relevant technologies

Who we're looking for
• You will currently be in a target driven sales environment
• Strong relationship builder and have strong presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to exceed goals
• Person must be comfortable working independently
• Must have experience selling tangible and intangible goods to organisations
• Must be comfortable in all levels of an organisation, especially 'C' level
• Must have proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs and WebEx (or similar product).
