You'll work as part of a team of industry specialists providing consulting services to all the major financial institutions, so you'll quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge to become an expert in your field. Assignments will be focused across the full spectrum of the banking industry and will include: • Operating model design and delivery • Process Transformation • Cost Reduction • Risk and Regulation
As a consultant you will: • Work within a team on client facing projects or programme work streams • Produce exceptional deliverables for clients • Understand and gather client and business requirements and support effective day to day client relationships • Understand key risks and issues • Contribute to the development and growth of the banking practice • Participate fully and actively contribute to the banking team
Who we're looking for
To succeed as a Operations Excellence Consultant you will require the following: • Excellent academics (at least a 2:i from a leading university) • Relevant experience within a major bank or consulting firm working on business change projects • Knowledge and understanding of the UK retail or Investment banking industry and market. • Ability to operate and understand excellent project and programme management disciplines including production of project plans, key quality programme deliverables and working and delivering to strict time constraints • Excellent communication and people skills, with a strong emphasis on team working. • "Can do" attitude with a real willingness to learn and participate • Enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference • Knowledge of methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques and implementation methodologies beneficial • Full travel mobility
