Commercial Underwriter

You will be required to underwrite existing business, process renewals and negotiate with brokers to achieve required increases and ensure quality business is retained. The commercial underwriter will work within the remit of the Bristol regional plan supporting the achievement of underwriting profit whilst focusing on risk selection.

Who we're looking for
The successful commercial underwriter will demonstrate considerable knowledge of strong technicalcommercial underwriting combined with superior trading skills and excellent interpersonal skills. It will also be beneficial if the candidate has knowledge of the Bristol and South West underwriting and commercial market. Also you should have obtained CII qualification or be studying towards it.
