Purpose of the Job is to provide clients with skilled specialist legal advice in connection with outsourcing, technology and general commercial matters. This firm has a very busy and growing commercial team with exciting opportunities for a further senior lawyer to be actively involved in all types of outsourcing, technology and commercial work, both large scale projects and smaller commercial matters, for differing size clients who operate in a number of different sectors.
Who we're looking for
My client is looking for a senior (4+ PQE) lawyer with experience in drafting and advising in relation to outsourcing, technology and commercial contracts/matters with the following skills:-
• whilst a team player, able to advise and undertake project work (including negotiations) on a standalone basis.
• experience and the ability to draft accurately and concisely, with a strong ability to understand the differing commercial requirements of clients operating in various sectors and to draft agreements to favour the client's requirements and position.
• excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver advice to clients, both verbally and in writing, accurately, promptly, clearly and concisely, and in plain English.
• well organised, able to work independently and to manage and progress own caseload, ensuring deadlines/critical dates are met.
• to have a good, sound working knowledge of all applicable legislation and relevant case law.
• a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a keen willingness to be a 'team member' in a growing team.
• the ability to proactively and enthusiastically participate in the marketing of the firm / department as required, for example, writing articles, assisting with seminars, supporting events, building and maintaining client and third party professionals and other intermediaries relationships.
