In this newly-created role, the Account Director will take over the very successful financial services business, which in the past 24 months alone has delivered outstanding sales growth across customers in Global Financial Markets, UK Retail Banking and other financial services sectors. The role requires building on the success of this business both by maximising revenues from existing customers, as well as by expanding the customer base by acquiring new financial services clients.
Responsibilities
• Increasing monthly recurring revenue from financial services customers by developing a strategic sales engagement plan and with responsibility for the successful execution of this plan.
• Extending through breadth and depth the engagement with our key partners' senior sales teams selling into financial services.
• Increasing scale and repeatability into our revenue stream from the UK financial services market.
• Prospecting, both directly and with our channel partners, to uncover opportunities for Resilient services, thereby maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial engagement, qualification, proposal writing and presenting, closing, post-order account management and development.
• Working within a team comprising pre-sales, inside-sales and operations to ensure large and complex sales are delivered on time and budget and managing any issues should they occur.
• Forecasting and analysis to ensure that the role is delivering expected revenues and that inefficiencies in the sales process can be identified early.
• Tracking all activities, tasks and actions with Resilient Networks' CRM.
Resilient Networks' proposition is highly compelling and offers significant technical, commercial and financial advantages when compared to any other service provider in the market. As a result, this role offers a unique opportunity for a talented sales professional to generate a high level of revenue. In this exciting and uncapped earnings environment, it will be realistic for a successful Account Director to earn in excess of £140k.
Who we're looking for
Applications are invited from talented and ambitious Sales professionals with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, within a technology or business services company, with a client base largely centred on the UK financial services sector. As the business plans for this sector demand a minimum of 50% increase in revenue, the successful applicant will be a self-starter, highly revenue driven and will be capable of developing a sector, capable of delivering on all aspects of new business sales.
Extensive contacts within the sector would be expected, whilst experience of working through major reseller channels such as BT Group would be preferred.
Unsurprisingly, you will also need to demonstrate superlative written and verbal communication skills, be an excellent presenter and facilitator, have proven negotiation skills and operate with the highest levels of integrity.
Whilst this is an Account Director's role, involving an element of client and revenue retention, the main emphasis will be on new business.
