Reporting to the Sales Director in this high profile Business Development Manager role your key objective will be the delivery of new business revenue streams through the sales of key product and service lines. You'll be tasked with the development of market and client acquisition strategies and will be responsible for the execution of these plans. This will involve targeting new and existing partners from SME to Corporate size client and developing the sale to closure over varying lead times, typically at C-Level. Drawing on the Affinion's extensive resources, enjoying real scope and autonomy in the role based from their Slough, Portsmouth or London offices and motivated by a lucrative commission model this represents an excellent employment opportunity with a real leader in their competitive set. Some of the key products you'll be accountable for selling include:
• Sentinel Card Protection, offering protection in the event of credit card loss.
• PrivacyGuard, a pro-active credit management and identity theft identification and resolution service.
• Lets Go Rewards, a unique range of leisure offers and benefits.
Who we're looking for
You'll be a senior sales professional who thrives in a strategic sales environment. Able to think commercially as to how you develop new business you'll be adept at developing both cold prospects and cross selling and up selling clients to increase share of wallet. A track record in Financial or Business Services with specific exposure to Loyalty, Affiliate or Affinity partnerships would be highly desirable. Our client would therefore welcome applications from candidates with this exposure from industry sectors such as Travel through to Retail, Direct Marketing to Insurance and other Financial Services sectors. Equally talented sales professionals with a broader background in business services are also encouraged to apply. You'll be motivated by the opportunity to develop new business opportunities and will be an accomplished networker at C-level. Strong customer facing and negotiation skills are essential.
