Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant for my client's successful business in Jersey you will be responsible for supporting the Fund Accounting Manager in managing the bookkeeping team for a portfolio of complex alternative investment fund structures administered by the Group.
Key accountabilities include:
- Taking ownership for the bookkeeping, accounting and reporting requirements of a portfolio of investment funds.
- Key responsibility for developing professional relationships with clients to grow your portfolio.
- Conduct reviews of financial statements prior to liaising with Clients+ Auditors.
- Confidence in building complex accounting reported to enable review and resolution of client queries.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing a small team of staff.

Who we're looking for
Applications are invited from candidates whoa re genuinely committed to relocating to the Jersey.

The successful Senior Accountant will;
- Hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Have excellent knowledge of GAAP, IFRS.
- Have a proven track record in the alternative fund sector.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
