Your primary focus will be to manage the implementation of supply chain projects that encompass significant systems and process changes, delivering multi-million dollar savings while meeting Customer Service expectations. This includes leading a major implementation of Sales and Operations Planning at different Divisions as part of a global roll-out, implementing supply chain planning systems, leading supply chain cost reductions and supporting initiatives to improve supply chain responsiveness.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Successfully contribute to targeted inventory reductions of >$10million annually.
• Provide leadership in the configuration of systems and design of processes to support the supply chain needs of different divisions and to meet business objectives
• Lead training programs and provides training todivisions in the use of supply chain systems and best practice processes
• Proactively identify potential obstacles that will hinder progress on projects. Take action to prevent them where possible or recommend solutions to mitigate their impact
• Demonstrate clear project leadership, influencing, inspiring and motivating project teams to deliver change programmes that will improve supply chain performance
• Build rapport and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization, establishing credibility with Senior Management and the Corporate SCM leadership team
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate for the role of Senior Supply Chain Project Manager will bring specific, deep knowledge and experience of multiple supply chain topics, particularly in the areas of S&OP, Demand Management and Inventory Management.
You key skill sets will include:
• Strong Project Management skills
• Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning and experience of implementing it.
• You will have used supply chain planning systems and understands how to deploy them to deliver reductions in inventory and improvements in Customer Service
• Demonstrate extensive experience of leading project teams and implementing change to systems and processes to deliver improved business results
• A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to engage, communicate, and influence internal and external stakeholders.
