Audit Senior

To provide a high quality service to clients in respect of various financial reporting and statutory requirements.
To supervise and guide junior team members.
To represent the firm in a professional and efficient manner.

Principal Responsibilities:

Leading audits and responsible for assistants within the audit team to ensure delivery within agreed timetable
Preparation and audit of statutory accounts
Manages workload to ensure all tasks are completed according to deadlines and budgets set
Liaising with clients to ensure that information is received in sufficient time to prepare accounts and complete the audit
Preparation and management of assignment budgets and costs
Able to carry out ad hoc assignments with assistance
Investigates all audit issues to arrive at a proposal or solution
Take responsibility for own workload and performance indicators
To identify opportunities for additional work/ cross selling
Develop assistants in the team by on the job training, directing and supervising their work.
Accountabilities/Key Performance Indicators

Client and statutory deadlines are met or exceeded (client focus, managing self and others, goal/results focus). High quality service provided to all clients (client focus, attention to detail/quality). Understands and prepares financial statements correctly (technical, problem solving).Understands and has knowledge of relevant accounting and auditing standards (technical). WIP process managed effectively ensuring department remains within budget (goal/results focus, commercial awareness)Experienced in leading statutory auditsIFRS,Overseas reporting and qualified ACA/ACCACapable of leading SME audits and providing a high level of assistance on large assignments and transactions, previous experience not essential. Exellent people leadership and communication skills Proficent in IT packages.

ACA/ACCA finalist or qualified.
Motivated to provide the highest quality service to clients.
Excellent accounting skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to liaise with people at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively for self and other members of the team.
