As General Store Manager you will be accountable for all aspects of the operational performance of one of our clients busy Supermarkets. You will have a team of between 300-700 and will be able to lead and develop them on a daily basis. You will be be able to demonstrate success within a large stores and high turnover in the region of £100m per annum . As a General Store Manager you will create a store that will fit into the local community. Results will be key. You will display a great commercial understanding of retail and be aware of the need for service levels to be high.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for a retailer who will go the extra mile. Our client want special people to help the business grow. You will have worked within the retail industry and from a food retail environment and have managed a store with sale in excess of £1.5m per week. You will be focused on results and delivering through your people. You will pay great attention to detail and be organised in your approach to running your store. You will be able to work in a structured environment where there really is a winning mentality.
• You must have managed circa £1.5 Million per week

• You will have worked in a Food/Supermarket Blue Chip environment

• Must have managed large teams and in large shop floor space and high volume background
