This is a fantastic opportunity within one of the UK's leading professional services firms. The company provide leading business advisory, risk management, tax, recovery, and financial management services to clients across the UK. Working within the Risk Management division, specifically Internal Audit, your role would entail leading a team in the delivery of high quality internal audits to clients across South Wales.
Reporting to and working with the Client Manager and Associate Director, you will develop and prepare the internal audit strategy, managing and controlling internal audit assignments and providing leadership and supervision to more junior staff with individual assignments. You will also assume responsibility for a small portfolio of clients, planning and undertaking a range of internal audits and drafting reports summarising the results of audit fieldwork.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for the role will have significant experience as an Internal Auditor, with extensive technical knowledge of the internal audit process. You must be degree educated plus ACCA or IIA qualified. You will be a hands-on individual with leadership experience, able to train, coach and develop a team within an Audit/Consulting environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal; skills, combined with a strong commercial awareness plus excellent attention to detail. You will be a proactive, flexible and articulate individual with a strong sense of initiative and excellent organisational skills, able to manage a varied workload and prioritise accordingly.
Regular travel will be required in the role, so a full and clean driving licence and car will be essential.
