As a General Store Manager in the following geographies:London, The Northern Home Counties and The Southern Home Counties you will be accountable for all aspects of the operational performance of one of our clients busy Supermarkets. You will have a team between 300-700 personnel, Your responsibilities as a General Store Manager will be: •Lead and develop the team on a daily basis whilst delivering fantastic store standards. • You need to be able to demonstrate success within large stores with high turnover. •You will need to create a store that fits in with the local community and show strong commercial awareness to match your customer needs so that your store grows. • You need to be passionate about delivering great customer service and delivering your results through your team.

We are looking for first class food retailers already operating at General Store Manager capacity who want to excel. Who will always go the extra mile and take pride in their business. • Our client needs that special retailer that wants to be involved in a ever growing business and will bring their store along to match and beat company standards and targets. • You will be focused on your results and have the ability to achieve through your people with outstanding leadership. • Attention to detail is a must to deliver terrific store standards and your organisational skills will be one of your main attributes. • The environment is structured, fast paced, ever changing and your winning mentality will inspire others to get over the line. Desirables for the Role: * You will have managed circa £1 million+ per week * You will have worked in a fast paced Food retail environment. * You must have managed large teams and a large shop floor with high volume turnovers. * Have aspirations for a bigger role UK or internationally.
