Under guidance of Senior Managers, IT Audit delivers assurance activity to support reviews as to the effectiveness of the control environment.
In delivering independent assurance for reviews, the Senior IT Auditor is accountable for:

• Developing appropriate assurance work programmes and executing the work programmes for the assigned review.
• Producing high quality working papers and audit file to support the findings of the reviews assigned to.
• Producing high quality audit issues, findings and reports from the reviews they are assigned to.
• Applying audit methodology and standards to more complex reviews.
• Participating in UK and overseas reviews as required, working flexibly in order to achieve this.
• Leading specific individual reviews, as delegated by Senior Managers within IT Audit from planning to close.
• Supporting the Lead Auditors with stakeholder management at Head of and Senior Management level within the business for the relevant business area subject to audit review.
• Supporting the Lead Auditors in reporting findings to local business management and Group Audit teams.

Who we're looking for
This is a high profile opportunity where the best people are given every opportunity to accelerate their careers. As such you will be a high calibre candidate and a proven track record of achievement in your current or previous role. You will need to have a Big 4 Accounting firm pedigree, or have worked in a very large and complex matrix style organisation. You will be proven in IT Audit and be either ACA, CISA or QICA qualified.
