This Senior position involves a broad variety of private client tax work. Key elements of the role include: Client work • Prepare corporate tax computations/Grade A/B tax returns • Review basic corporate tax computations/Grade C returns • Prepare election control sheets and client review sheets • Review Alphatax/Taxpoint lists to ensure all relevant prompts are cleared and deadlines met • Contribute at client meetings • Deals with HMRC correspondence including responding to enquiries • Data analysis • Research technical issues and draft letters of advice • Prepare billing analyses and draft fee notes 2. Training and development • Studying for CTA exams if applicable • Attend internal training sessions 3. Assisting other staff members • Provide support to other staff members and directors on chargeable and non-chargeable work when required 4. Compliance • Ensuring relevant client deadlines are met

In addition to strong private client tax experience, the key remit/ background my clientis looking forincludes: • Report predominantly to managers and senior managers but also to other staff and directors as appropriate • Liaise with other departments Decision Making Authority/Mandates/Constraints • Manages own work and deadlines • Delegates tasks to trainees, monitors deadlines and reviews work. • Assumes responsibility for smaller clients Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Experience<BR>• Good basic knowledge of tax and tax accounts and basic planning concepts • May have passed ACA or CTA Job Dimensions: Numerical measures reflecting size of job Financial (money related) Non-Financial
