Eurofins UK are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Director. You will be technically strong (to degree level, and a qualified accountant ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA), an excellent people manager, and strategic with a good commercial bias.

This is a hands-on role, where responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Manage a team of up to 12 people (Finance, Purchasing and Administration);
• Budgeting & forecasting, and monitoring performance; setting of KPI's;
• Financial reporting and control across a variety of legal entities; Tax; Risk Management;
• Manage finance, treasury and credit; and the relationships with the bankers and the auditors;
• Reduce Working Capital and control of WIP;
• Overall business cost saving & efficiencies; leading the procurement team;
• Development of gross margin and customer and product profitability reporting

Personality will be key for this role and your success - we need someone who has high energy, drive and a passion to win and exceed expectations. You will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels, have the gravitas of a Director, and build a number of relationships at senior levels internally.

Who we're looking for
I am looking for a qualified Finance Director (ACA, CIMA, ACCA; and University degree), with strong interpersonal skills and excellent knowledge of financial processes and procedures, including a good understanding of tax regulations as well as treasury. You will have led and managed a diverse team previously, be able to drill down into the detail when needed and be results-driven. In return you will be given full responsibility for this company's UK finances and the room to bring change as you see fit, as well as influence future strategy and maximise product profitability and performance.

What's on offer
