As part of ongoing business growth Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies are looking to recruit a Senior Process Engineer to play a lead role within their Process Technology team. The focus of the role will be to oversee a variety of specialised new product introduction, technology transfer and new process scale up projects. Whilst acting as the technical authority within the team, you will provide indirect leadership to project teams, and be involved in the mentoring of graduate process engineers within the department. Other Duties will include: • Managing mainstream capital projects, whilst also designing and implementing experimental programmes on pilot units • Managing the interface between R&D and Manufacturing to ensure fast track progression of products from lab based processes to established manufacture. • Ensuring compliance to site GMP and SHE systems.
Who we're looking for
You will need to be degree educated in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) and have a proven track record in process engineering ideally from within a biopharmaceutical and cGMP lead environment. You will be used to managing multiple new product introduction processes, and leading large numbers of specialised change projects. You should be comfortable operating within a technology lead business, and have the gravitas to lead and mentor others within a diverse fast paced team and a culture geared around the sharing of knowledge.
