Supporting the Global Functions Operational Risk Team in the development and maintenance of the Operational Risk Management Framework in line with TOM.
· Development and maintenance of processes for effective risk universe capture, key control identification.
· Development and implementation of Key Indicators for effective risk management of processes and performance of key controls for reporting to Senior Management.
· Development and implementation of Information Security and system risk management
· Implementing effective application of the op risk methodology across Global Functions
· To communicate effectively the technical op risk requirements to a wide non-specialist audience.
· To satisfy external auditors that an op risk control framework is in place.
· Influencing the business to adopt best pracitises for Operational Risk across Global Functions
The nature of the role requires close working contact with senior executives and all business areas across the Global Functions for the reporting and tracking of operational risk, and with Group and Regional Operational Risk,, and the Regional ORICC Committee for guidance and submission of required reporting.
Who we're looking for
Highly organised with an understanding of the importance of getting the detail right first time.
· Operational Risk Subject Matter Expert with experience of implementing Op risk programs in previous organisations
· Good understanding of other areas of risk.
· Exposure to an operations and a control environment.
· Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
· Ability to understand complex concepts.
· Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.
· Ability to build strong working relationships with other areas both within Global Functions and across central and business aligned functions across the region.
