Review insolvency cases with a view to identifying possible avenues of recovery by analysing and reviewing company documentation.

Analyse, research and review the financial affairs of the company, to include but not limited to, analysing company bank accounts, debenture positions, invoices and statutory accounts.

Request documentation and make enquiries from individuals, companies and Government Agencies that might be able to assist the office holder together with identifying and using the relevant sections of the Insolvency Act 1986.

Prepare detailed case reviews to summarise the position of the company at various progression stages and investigate the financial and legal history of the company and its transactions prior to any insolvency.

Identify potential heads of claim under the Insolvency Act 1986.

Work to partner or manager to initially agree the case strategy and then effectively progress and manage the assigned case portfolio which will contain multiple cases with a view to litigation to recover funds on behalf of the creditors

Work with lawyers and monitor their progression of any work they have been instructed to do in a proactive manner. Prepare evidence, review evidence and make a record of any conversations or meetings that are relevant to the case and progression towards recovery.

Who we're looking for
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years investigation experience.

Knowledge of using the Insolvency Act together with the relevant provisions it contains and the legal process adopted to make a recovery.

Demonstrate your experience of managing a portfolio of insolvency cases together with investigating insolvent entities
