X2 Category Managers required to work for one of the UK's leading FMCG brands for 12 months Due to two maternity leaves there are two contract positions which have arisen within McCain, Scarborough.
The roles sit within the retail sales division of the business and will report in to the Senior Category Manager. The successful applicants will be the category specialist for a key sector within Frozen Potato, to include Product, Consumer, Market, Retailer and Commercial understanding. The business will require the candidates to extract and communicate effectively learnings gained, drive actions and work with all internal and external partners to develop and deliver mutual category growth. Key Responsibilities:
• Analysing market and consumer data in order to identify market shifts and trends, in doing so driving insights and actions. • Working closely with the sales team to maximize the performance of the core range within retailers to ensure maximum distribution and delivery of the brand plan. • Building relationships with key customers to develop the category for mutual benefit, through Category Reviews, Range Reviews, New Product Sell In Presentations • Customer specific work e.g. Promotions / Shopper Analysis.
Who we're looking for
Experienced in analysing and interpreting data and presenting conclusions and recommendations. Worked within a Category Management / Marketing Team Worked with data from data providers such as dunnhumby, Tesco link, Retail Link (desirable) Understands the route to market process You must be able to develop relationships with internal and external customers and must be able to persuade and influence others.
