My client's tax practice provides tax compliance, advisory and transaction services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services sector, including some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds. UK FSO Tax is divided into a number of business teams based on industry sector specialist knowledge or technical skill-set.

The dedicated tax compliance team is responsible for the delivery of corporation tax provisions, computations and returns for a large number of our FSO tax clients.

The work is varied and constantly challenging. All tax technical roles within the team are client facing and we consider client service to be our key differentiator from the other Big 4 firms.

Within the team, staff are broadly split between industry sectors [Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance]; the sector that provides us with the greatest volume of compliance work is asset management and as such we undertake both company and partnership tax computation preparation.

We are looking for ambitious Tax Advisors who are keen to progress. Previous compliance experience within practice is a must, and preferably from one of the Big 4 firms.

Who we're looking for
Relevant corporate tax compliance experience

FS industry and product knowledge preferred but not essential

Partnership or corporate tax compliance would be acceptable

Commercial attitude with the desire to consider the wider business implications of tax

A good understanding of accounts - UK GAAP and IFRS
