The National Account Executive will; support SNAMs & NAMs to achieve net revenue and gross margin, support SNAM to develop and roll out plan for maximising sales within multiple format, support NAM on key projects and day to day activities on major accounts, working with Trade Marketing and the in-store merchandising team to deliver best practice in-store sales execution and promotional compliance, analysis of account specific sales data to provide insights for National Account team focusing on NPD launches, undertake post promotional reviews to fully appreciate the effect of the campaigns, working closely with marketing teams, developing internal and external relationships and create value adding presentation materials.
In addition there will be administrative tasks; completing forecasting sheets, completing NLF, requesting samples and overseeing artwork, raising NPAs to be passed to Trade Marketing and lead and develop new business opportunities where appropriate. In addition to the support of major accounts, the National Account Executive will pick up responsibility for smaller national accounts and have their own key level of accountability.
Who we're looking for
The National Account Executive will; be ideally from a sales background with some previous experience in FMCG, OTC or Retail, come with a track record of budget delivery and growth momentum, be action-orientated with a focused and pragmatic approach to problem solving, ability to demonstrate a good level of commercial acumen, credible in front of managers/buyers but also at a lower level and intermediate and able to work alone and at the same time contribute to team objectives.
The ideal background for the National Account Executive would be someone that comes with Retail experience with a large corporate business however we an potentially look slightly outside if the person comes with excellent ability and is a self-starter.
