In the role of Space Planning Manager you will: • Lead range reviews with key customers • Work with Category Manager to prepare data analysis and planograms for range reviews • Work with Buyer in merchandising centre to build new planograms • Take responsibility for developing collaborative relationships with customer merchandising teams • Maximise distribution & visibility • Represent Sales function in cross-functional teams to shape New Product Development (NPD) plans and ensure all NPD is right for retail e.g. shelf ready packaging, case sizes, space on shelf • Input into longer term business planning of how we lead category thinking with retailers e.g. the future baby aisle • Use retailer EPOS & other data sources to understand performance and identify opportunities for growth • Prepare planograms & ranging recommendations with sound rationale for Top 5 customers • Lead shopper research programs with key customers to uncover new insights that will deliver benefit for the category • Manage the relationship with the agencies and the customer • Set up and manage the research program from start to conclusion, including methodology, data analysis, interpretation of findings and recommendations
