Specifically, you will be working as part of our Change Programme - a major business transformation project we have underway to re-launch our Direct website and multichannel business. As this is a brand new site you'll be part of the broader business team that owns the 'front end' of the site and all the ecommerce systems and tools used to merchandise, publish and sell on the site.
This role will best suit an individual who thrives and smiles under pressure, is well organised, pragmatic, can manage issues, decisions and stakeholders and most importantly, puts our customers first. You need to be the type of person that loves improving processes - having a passion for great websites and bringing them to life is obviously a must!
Who we're looking for
• To apply for this role applicants MUST have significant Digital / Web Designexperience from a blue chip retail (or similar)environment. • Be an expert in website design - understand and be able to use design software to create customer focused assets and pages. Find creative solutions to support customer journeys. • Contribute to developing concepts for seasonal events - working on seasonal projects and content pages that will improve user experience. • Design - Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to manipulate imagery, & copy to produce outstanding optimised web content. Ability to identify the best way to produce quality content & an eye for great design
• Coding - Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and Actionscript in a ecommerce environment would be useful but not essential
