As the London based EMEA Procurement Manager you will:
• Manage EMEA direct and indirect procurement associates.
• Drive global sourcing and supplier management strategies and processes. Lead supplier development and local sourcing initiatives for EMEA supply base.
• Create procurement strategies to support local management objectives.
• Develop and train international associates capable of successfully implementing and managing these strategies.
Scope & responsibility will be as follows:
Coordinate and initiate EMEA sourcing strategies in concert with Strategic Sourcing team. Manage supplier performance improvement programs and develop strategies to effectively improve supply chain performance in quality, delivery, and cost management and ensure supply continuity in EMEA. Maintain EMEA spend metrics and identify cost reduction opportunities. Improve global supplier communication to foster an environment for collaboration and innovation. Ensure strong communication/relationship with Global Procurement leadership team.
Who we're looking for
As the successful London based EMEA Procurement Manager you will have the following:
• Bachelor's degree
• Procurement experience at a leadership level; and an understanding of the role of procurement within product development and supply chain organizations.
• Experience of working in multiple EMEA locations, understanding the constraints and working culture within them.
• Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and to build cross-functional teams.
• Strategic focus with the ability to analyze, formulate and implement strategic procurement strategies to significantly reduce cost for a global business.
• Ability to inspire innovative performance of staff, peers and suppliers.
• High degree of financial and problem solving ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. English language proficiency. Fluent in second language preferred.
• Experience in negotiating high-dollar, complex procurement agreements.
• Experience in indirect and direct commodity management across multiple EMEA countries with an understanding of cultural and legal differences.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
