Senior Product Manager

Consumer Healthcare

Thames Valley

Permanent ⁄ £50000 - £60000

This is a really interesting, high profile role that requires someone with both Product management and strong digital experience. Reporting to the Marketing Director the role at has responsibility for the following
Product Management
• determine strategies, tactics and measures to support the product segment
• manage the segment performance by formulating both strategic and tactical measures to deliver the segment's objectives
•partner with colleagues in the local marketing team and in the regional offices to ensure support and input into plans

Channel Management
•formulate single-minded and insight-based campaigns in partnership with the category manager and the account owner to achieve the strategic and tactical objectives

Digital Marketing
• responsible for delivering the company's digital / online marketing strategy, planning and budget to drive the business forwards through new marketing channels.
• managing online branding, communications and campaigns through the company website, eCRM and building the online community
• work with other segment owners and channel managers to plan and implement all online marketing campaigns including digital campaign collateral
• responsible for identifying and prioritising digital marketing objectives
• create and communicate Marketing briefs and IT specs
• manage the use of digital media to support the company's product strategy
• continuously enhance the digital experience of both consumer and professional
•responsible for managing the online marketing budget
• develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and third party providers.

Budget management
• Negotiate & monitor budget allocated for marketing plan execution

Market Intelligence
• Build in-depth understanding of the needs of customers and consumers

• Proven experience in digital marketing
• Self starter with confidence and tenacity to drive forward projects, even in the face of adversity
• Excellent communication skills
• Good project management skills
• Strong analytical skills, numerical skills and a good knowledge of Excel
• Good relationship management skills and a good team player
• Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to grasp how the digital component fits with the overall mix
