Brand Manager

This role is to develop and implement brand building strategies and plans to enhance our competitive advantage and to grow sales, profit and market share for the portfolio. You will need to deliver commercial targets and have P&L responsibility for the assigned brand portfolio.

You will need to be able to gain consumer, competitor and market insight and develop competitive advantage through confident insight based decision making. Analysis will come from existing research and commissioning new research studies, completing SWOT analysis, conducting market audits and gaining knowledge from within the business.

Brand Strategy & Planning will be integral to the development of annual brand and activation plans and you will drive continued brand development and to deliver turnover, profit and market share targets.

For brand communications you will develop clear creative briefs to effectively communicate ideas and convert these into well executed and integrated communication plans.

You will work collaboratively with Forecasting and Demand Planning teams to ensure effective stock management for assigned portfolio.

Project Management: to ensure all agreed projects are managed from concept to delivery with agreed resources and to activity calendar activation date. Management of communication to external agencies and internal functions.

Who we're looking for
Reporting to theGroup Brand Manager you will have to be comfortable with decision making within the context of the managed brands agreeing support from the Group Brand Manager & Head of Marketing on a project by project basis.
