1 Execute pre-contract support within SME business unit partners from a finance and commercial perspective, including liaison with bid team members in the preparation and analysis of bids.
2 Analyse and execute prices, costs, cash flows, EVA calculations and legal responses, from a financial and commercial perspective, as part of the pre-contract support process in a business area.
3 Contribute to the business area's inputs into the planning and reporting process, including the annual budget cycle and profit, cost centre, balance sheet and cash flow reporting to local management and the Commercial Controller
4 Execute the Risks and Opportunities process. Develop plans to mitigate risks and realize opportunities with SME business unit partners
5 Control order costs for the business area; manage the reporting of bid costs and the processing of sales quotations. Participate with the head of the business area in regularly reviewing all significant projects; control the actual and forecast results for all such projects.
6 Execute the productivity controlling process to support the delivery of strategy.
7 Participate in the development of Business Change tools, processes and materials
8 Manage the Business areas input into the Planning and Reporting Process from a F&C perspective to ensure congruence with the defined strategy. Participate in the definition of delivery plans.
9 Lead the compliance culture in the Business area
Who we're looking for
Desired: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with substantial exposure of operating at a senior level.
Strategic understanding of the business and understanding of how finance can add value.
Ability to explain concepts and ideas in a non-financial environment, specifically how these impact on the rest of the business
Understanding of the EFQM Excellence Model
Ability to perform complex data analysis and interpretation.
Relationship management skills, Communication skills, Influencing skills
Advanced Excel
IT literate, Good SAP working knowledge
