The Legal Director will report to the VP of Legal, International and will have responsibility for management of the small UK legal team. You will also form part of the UK management team.

The successful candidate will show a desire to drive the business forward from a legal perspective and contribute strategically across all business units. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements with clients (including, but not limited to, terms and conditions, service and supply agreements, outsourcing agreements, SLAs and technology related issues)
• Risk management
• Intellectual Property
• Compliance
• Data Protection

Who we're looking for
You are likely to have significant commercial experience in a related industry, having trained at a recognised private practice or blue-chip organisation. You will be expected to operate within the business and will be confident in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. The successful candidate will also be comfortable heading up a small team and offering appropriate guidance and support to members of that team. Ultimately, this is a role that would suit a lawyer with a high degree of commercial acumen who understands that the role of an in-house lawyer is that of a business facilitator.
